Anyway I think you should strive and practice to get much better in drawing and designing. You have some really decent ideas, it would be a waste to not do something awesome with those. There are soo many tutorial and information on the internet, which is free btw, it's almost seems like you can learn everything from there.
For aesthetic things like your account appearance, develop an artist gut feeling, because it's a good factor deciding aesthetic things. Also It's really important to work clean/correct and creating art is a complex thing yeah, it's not like math so upload in a way that you feel comfortable with it. I hope this helps. :)

imo pfp looks fine as it is, it's the low quality banner that looks like doo doo to me
filler sounds fine to me honestly, so long as it's good filler (hell i upload a shit ton of filler in the form of stuff i've made in one hour or so that *i'm proud of*)
